Hi . . . the 30th reunion announcement went to my mother's house, so I just updated my address info for you. Regretfully I won't be able to attend the 30th reunion due to a planned trip . . . I enjoyed the 27.5 reunion, & am disappointed that I won't make the 30th. One constructive suggestion: most people attend reunions to socialize, & the DJ at the last event was loud enough to make conversation difficult

I graduated from UMass with a BA in Classics in '81 (I was on the 6 year plan). I've been a foreign language teacher since getting my Master's in Classics from Tufts in '83.
I met my husband, Marc, while teaching at Phillips Andover in the summer. I took a job teaching Latin at a great public high school in NJ to be with Marc while he was in
grad school. I've been happy there ever since. We got married in '89. In '93 I got a Fulbright to study in Italy, while Marc went to study in Russia. We had our sons Joey in
'96 and Jamie in 2000. I cook and bake, he brews beer. We all play soccer and have fun being a family.
I had fun! Definitely worth the drive up from PA. I think we've matured well.
For the 30th: maybe something for the spouses to do? I'm happy to brainstorm.

Hi Guys & Gals:
This website is wonderful. It was like a short trip back to memory lane. It is
well designed and very informative. Great Job and thanks for all the hard work.

Oops, forgot this part. Brief description: married too early (1977), divorced almost immediately (1978), finished college (1979), married again (1980), moved to Iowa, had
babies almost immediately (3 in Iowa) moved back to Massachusetts (1985) - wondered why we did that, had one more baby (1987), went to graduate school (to escape four
small children?), became a librarian (?!?!), moved to Pennsylvania to become faculty (in the library!) at Penn State, moved to New Hampshire (into a coporate job with an
offer I couldn't refuse). Kids grew, went off to college, Moved to California in 1998. Kids are now 15, 17, 20 and 22 - one graduated from college, one in college, one
avoiding thinking about college and one enjoying high school and just learning to drive. Still married, working for a software company (software for libraries!) and totally
enjoying California.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
I have two boys (men!) ages 18 and 21. I was widowed when they were young, now I'm in a "committed relationship" - euphamism for too lazy to get married???
I work in Boston as a paralegal for an elder law firm, which is very satisfying but hectic work. At least I know I've helped at the end of the day!

Dear friends,
After graduating high school, I went to UMASS AMherst, and eventually graduated from UMASS Boston in 1980 while working for an anti poverty agency as a VISTA
volunteeer. I worked for six years for the State Medicaid agency until 1986 when I went to graduate school at Brandeis in the Heller School. After finishing my Masters in
human service management, I worked for four years as the associate administrator of Amesbury hospital. In 1991, I moved to Jerusalem Israel where I have been living
since then. I married Menachem Kallus in 1995 and we have one son named Yochanon (1998) who is almost five years old.I work as the grants manager for a foundation
that gives money to projects that promote peace between Arab and Jewish citizens of Israel. Most of the time, we are just trying to survive and stay safe from terror, war, and
other natural phenomona.
I would love to hear from anyone who feels like emailing me.

After LSRHS, went to Ohio State University to study Pharmacy, got kicked out (thank God) and transferred to Ohio University and left with a BS in Mass Communication. I was the Art Director for the Boston Herald for the last 10 years, and took the early retirement in 2004. My husband Spencer Guder (LSRHS Class of '73) and I married in 1999 and have moved to a 32 acre farm in Connecticut. I started a small on-line paper and design company (www.invitationoutlet.com) and now work out of my attic. Life is GOOD! We will miss the 30th reunion as we will be out of town for a family reunion, but hope to see you all again at the LS 37.5 year gathering!

It's been a wild ride, from the Arts to high tech PR, to textile and lighting design. And my knees (after 5 surgeries) feel every bump in the road I've ever hit! Just give me a
walker with a diesel horn. I'm feeling old these days -- is anyone else? I hope the reunion was a success; please keep me up-to-date about the next one, or any sub-set
gatherings that may happen in-between. I'd love to hear what people have been up to, hear what we've all been through, good and bad, and how things have turned out.
Kippi Fagerlund
After high school, I studied music and lager on a
scholarship in England, then went to Bates College in Maine (BA in English and
Music). Played varsity volleyball and softball there with JoAnn Brambley LS '76.
Met my husband Jack in 1982, playing volleyball -- he worked for DEC and
introduced me to computers. Went to Northeastern and got a degree in Technical
Communication. Worked for Stratus Computer for 6+ years, then moved to Maryland.
Worked at Landmark Systems Corp, Visix Software, Microstrategy, Network
Associates' PGP Division. (Too bad I didn't have the missing classmates list
when I was doing some contract work for the State Department Passport Division
;-)
Last summer, we quit our jobs (high tech RIFs and impending layoffs get really
old) and travelled around the US for a few months, across the north, down the
coast and back via the south (http://www.his.com/~jacks/).
I'm currently at emc2 in Rockville, MD and in grad school again at UMd, in
information management. My husband has left engineering and will start grad
school again in June to get an M.Ed. and teaching certificate -- UMd has an
accelerated program that'll have him teaching math and CS part-time in
September.
Still play the trumpet once in a while (got to play taps at Arlington National
Cemetary last year!). I took up the cello about ten years ago, just for fun. We
love to bike, canoe, camp, and garden -- we have a 3+ acre "farmette" right next
to Lake Needwood in Rock Creek Park and the bike path that goes down to the Mall
in DC. Send me some email if you're going to be in the area.

With H.S. out of the way. I did a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy, then worked for a couple of years in New England. I moved to Oklahoma to attend college and make a life.
I've been here in the middle of the country ever since. It has been a good place to live and work.

Hi all - I went on to Babson, Middlesex Comminity
College, and quit it at Denver University. Went back to my love which was
Automove Repair and received an Associates in Science in Automotives.
Spent 12 years at GTE. Car work at my own shop.
Lost my only partner in life in 2000 after over 19 wonderful years.
Have a home in Marlboro now for about 18 years.
Capt. Thomas Griffin
I've spent the last 23 years since graduating from UMASS in the Army. I married a wonderful lady from Hingham who is a graduate of Smith College and we have two great
daughters.
We returned this summer from a 3-year assignment to the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, Egypt. The Army has given me a great opportunity to travel around the globe in Europe,
Central America, the Middle East and the Far East. My wife and children especially enjoyed our time in Egypt. The culture and education we all received is something we
will not soon forget! We all scuba dive as our family activity and there couldn't be a better place to do it than the Red Sea -- absolutely incredible.
I had hoped to "retire" this summer to our home just outside of Tampa, put the boat back in the water and take it easy. Unfortunately with all that is going on these days,
Uncle Sam said "No" -- so now I'm enroute to Korea at the end of September. I believe this is the third reunion I will have missed due to being stationed overseas. I wish
everyone the best. If you ever get to the Tampa area after September '03, look me up.
Best wishes,
Tom

I've been living in Oregon since 1977. I'm a wildlife biologist.
Haven't seen ANYONE from my HS days since I moved west. Will I recognize anyone? Will I know anyone? Could be fun!

Graduated from UC Berkeley in chemistry and spent the next 10
years in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Went to biz school along the
way. Morphed into a software person and have been working in software
engineering, consulting and IT ever since.

Kevin and Sean, who are now 14 and 10.

Would like to receive an invite to the 30th. I didn't even make the missing persons list ;(
Working out in San Francisco in the software industry. Taking time out to enjoy the weather with bike rides in Marin, runs along the Presido and ocean swims in the Bay.
Always ready to head back to my house on the Cape for a month in the summer ;)
Karen Jones - Bodenhamer
Yeah! I can't wait, the last reunion was terrific fun~ seems funny that our school isn't there anymore!

Hi everybody!
Terrible to think of myself as a missing person, so listen up. I live in New York after a lengthy episode in Washington, DC. I design, renovate, own and manage residential
real estate. I also have a mortgage bank in Austin, Texas (www.esimortgage.com). I paint abstactly in oil, sleep late, ride in bike Centuries, don't drink one day at a time and
pretty much have a dreamy little life with two cats.
I'd love to hear from anybody in NYC, or anywhere else for that matter!

What a great time! I enjoyed seeing everyone again. Everybody looked great - we're a remarkably well preserved bunch! It was nice to find some of the folks that were very
introverted back then have become more comfortable with people, and actually get to know some of them! You want some thoughts for the next reunion, so here goes. I
noticed that while there were a few people dancing, most of the group was chatting and having to speak up loudly over the music. So it might be an idea to have a shorter
period of high volume for dancing, and then just have the rest be at background levels, to facilitate conversation. The buffet approach was great, it not only saves money,
there was good socializing in the serving line. I like the idea I saw at the sign in table of having the next one be an all day or weekend outdoor activity event and would love to
help plan and execute that. My company does an annual outing of that nature, and we've used a a private campground/resort in Central Mass (name escapes me now, but
I'll ask our committee).

The reunion was great...I saw old friends I never expected to see which made it all the more fun! There was some talk of having a 30 year reunion and having it at a place
where the whole family could enjoy. A few years ago I organized a meeting at the Warren Conference Center in Ashland. Also one of my brothers recently got married
there. They did a fantastic job on both days. They have everything - indoor meeting space and a huge dining room with central fireplace, a dance floor and large bar...an

Sorry I will miss the 30th reunion, will be away
then. Had fun at 27.5.
After HS, went to Pitzer College in Claremont, Ca (near LA), transferred to
Univ. of Vt, happy to return to NE after experiencing smog firsthand. Majored in
Environmental Studies; after college lived in VT for a year and studied jazz
piano. Moved back to Boston to go to Berklee College of Music for a few
semesters. Learned a ton, wrote some songs, joined a caribbean band (Jack Lee
and Divercity), played clubs and weddings around Boston for 15 years. Now I work
for the Mass. Dept of Environmental Protection teaching people how to compost.
Go figure! (When my dad used to ask me if I'd be able to get a job while
majoring in Env. St. I used to say "Oh, yes," really thinking "ya, right." Who
knew Massachusetts would have a composting program 10 yrs later?
Got married in 98 to Don "Duck" MacAdam, no kids, live in Canton, have fun.
Still play with the band a couple times a year and do alot of gardening for fun.

Since 1975… … … … … .
After LS I went on to Boston College, finished up in ‘79 with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Finance – played a number of sports for BC and after blowing out my knee
twice decided to follow the business route. Left for Myrtle Beach, SC to start in the high-tech industry working for a company called AVX. I spent 2 yrs in SC during which I
fell in love with the South for their culture, quality of life, and strong values. During this time I traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Far East, and North America. I then
moved to NYC, then Greenwich Ct, and then out to San Francisco until late ‘85 when I was transferred to Atlanta – all with AVX.
In ‘86 got married to Margaret and during the next 12 yrs we resided in Atlanta, had 2 children Elizabeth and Baker, and built two homes. From a career standpoint AVX
wanted us to move again so we decided it was time to pursue other interests so I got involved in running a number of high-tech startups. Over the next 10 yrs and
non-ending travel (logged 3.5 million air miles), 2 companies were started in the data-storage market of which we then sold to several Fortune 500 companies. In ’97 we
moved to Minn where I was doing a divisional consolidation for a European company, built another house, and after 3 winters it was time to get out – brutal place to live in the
winter!
We moved back to Atlanta in late ‘99, built our 4th house, started a new division for a Japanese corporation, continued to travel, acquired another company, merged the 2,
and then headed to the Kiawah Island (where we’d been going for many yrs) and decided enough was enough. I had logged over 4 million miles, been in about every country
you could be in, the kids were now 10 & 8 and we decided it was time for a change. The following year we moved to Raleigh where Margaret was from (her family has been
there for over a 100 yrs) for a smaller environment and closer family. We’ve built our 5th house, I’m still traveling heading up a global market practice for Hitachi Data
Systems, did look at buying a company here but said nope not again. The kids are situated in a great school and entrenched in sports, Margaret is back where she grew up
with family and old friends, and we have the beach and our golf. The path of Life with all the twists and turns has so far turned out to be a!
good one since the days at LS. I have great memories of those days and look forward to the reunion

It would be real nice to see everybody again. To see what you are doing? We should try to keep in touch, alot closer because of things like "9-11-01", we do not want to loose
any of are classmates that way.
Daniel Rowlings
Would love to make it, but time and distance may preclude my attendance to what, I'll bet, will be the best event in the 27.5 years since senior sleep out. Of course, I'll
probably get some argument from my wife...something about a wedding or whatever...
In any event, after graduating LSRHS, signed up for the "more fun through less learning program" at University of Maine. Managed to graduate as a mechanical engineer,
although the memories are vague, and Joined Westinghouse Electric. Of course, we managed the company so weel that our business was acquired by a wonderful German
company called Siemens. Can you say "you will be assimilated, resistance is futile"? Thought you could.
Anyway, now working for Siemens Westinghouse Power corp as a Manager of mergers and acquisitions. Have two teenage girls (help...please...), one just got her license.
Of course, she drives worse than I did, but hasn't managed to mangle anything yet. I play guitar in a Classic Rock Band, and we are actually pretty good. It helps when you
have a great singer. Nope - too far to travel with the band - LOL.
Anyway, hope all LS75ers are well.

After graduation, I moved to Houghton, Michigan where I attended Michigan Technological University. Sue and I got married in 1978, I received a bachelor degree in
Chemical Engineering in '79, and started work with The Dow Chemical Company that same year. Our oldest son, Nathan, was born in 1982. In 1986 we were transferred to
Brindisi, Italy on a two year assignment, and our daughter Sarah was born. In 1988 we were transferred to Dublin, Ireland, and in 1989, we were transferred to Midland,
Michigan. In 1990 our youngest son, David was born, and in 1995 we were transferred to Harbor Beach, Michigan. I am currently the Site Manager for Dow in Harbor

The LS website has (had?) the wrong url listed, I sent a correction. Classmates.com says that the reunion location is in Natick. Is there any info listed here? I'm looking forward to attending, I hope more are too.
